The Webstandards are established by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as Recommendations for the use of WEB oriented technologies, for the conception, layout of Webapplications and Websites. The most famous of these technologies is possibly HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), a programmation language, core component of all webpages.
Webstandards are important, and necessary to ensure a worldwide compatibility in the the use of technologies and conception of webapplications and websites.
